The Backyard

We've been at Green Park for a while now. Most people find us because we are right opposite the Metro station on Aurobindo Marg. It's a busy spot but once you walk in, it feels different. We aren't doing anything fancy here. Just a place to sit. Being so close to Hauz Khas Village means we see a lot of people coming and going. Sometimes the traffic outside is a mess but that is just Delhi for you. We opened The Backyard because we wanted a space that didn't feel like those cramped shops nearby. We have some outdoor space which is nice when the weather isn't too hot. Most days it's just us making sure things are running okay. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It’s just a few of us. We share the neighborhood with Sartaj Hotel. People stop by after work or before heading into the village. It's not a complicated setup. We just keep the doors open and try to keep things clean. You can see the metro from the front. It’s a handy landmark for friends meeting up. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years but we are still here at A/2 A. Nothing much else to say really. If you are near Green Park, you'll see our sign. It's a plain place for regular people. We do our best to keep it decent without making a big fuss about it.
