If you head over to the Ambavata Complex in Mehrauli, you’ll find us at 1091/1. Thai Wok is basically a small kitchen where we spend most of our hours cooking. It gets pretty loud and hot back there, especially during the lunch rush when everyone in 110030 seems to be hungry at the same time. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the complex itself has seen a lot of changes over the years. Mehrauli is always crowded, so there’s never a dull moment looking out the window at the traffic. We mostly focus on getting the food out on time and making sure the vegetables are fresh when they arrive every morning. I usually get here early to start prepping things before the sun gets too high. It’s not a huge place, just a few tables and the constant smell of spices in the air. We don’t do much advertising; people just sort of find us while they’re walking around the area or visiting the monuments nearby. The floor gets a bit slippery sometimes and the noise from the street never really stops, but that’s just how it is here. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place running. We try to keep things simple and honest without any fuss. If you’re ever around this part of Delhi, you’ll see our sign right there in the complex. It's a busy life.
