Radha Ki Rasoi

Being in Dwarka Sector 10 at number 1, we see a lot of people passing by all the time. Radha Ki Rasoi is just a small kitchen really. We do a lot of prep work in the mornings, mostly soaking dals and getting the spices sorted. It’s not like those big restaurants with uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable for working over a stove all day. The space is tight, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other when things get busy. We focus on the cooking and making sure everything tastes like it should. There’s always a pile of containers to wash and the floor needs scrubbing pretty often. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually tired by the end of the shift. We get a lot of regulars who live in the flats nearby. They don't come for the decor because we don't have much of it. They just want a meal that feels right. Sometimes the delivery guys are late and we have to wait around, which can be annoying. The air in here usually smells like turmeric and fried cumin. We don't bother with fancy signs or big posters. People just know where we are if they’ve been around Sector 10 for any length of time. Running a kitchen like this means you're always on your feet and there isn't much time for sitting down or taking long breaks.
