Gyan Sagar Convent School

Gyan Sagar Convent School sits right across from the Peer Baba in Rajokri. It’s a landmark everyone uses when giving directions around here. We’ve been operating from this spot for some time now. Rajokri is an interesting place because it feels a bit tucked away but it’s always active. Our school isn’t some massive corporate campus; it’s more of a neighborhood spot. The building is practical. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. It’s nice to know the parents by name. We spend our time managing the classes and keeping the kids focused on their books. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when the weather changes or there’s something going on at the Peer Baba shrine across the way. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy brochures. It’s more about the daily grind of teaching and making sure the rooms are clean. The staff here are locals mostly. We drink tea in the small office between periods and talk about what’s working and what isn’t. It’s a straightforward way to run a school. We don't have flashy facilities but we have enough to get the job done. Life at Rajokri moves at its own pace and we just fit into that rhythm. The kids seem happy enough and that’s what fills our hours. It’s just us, doing what we do, right here on this street every single weekday.
