Fine Stich International

Fine Stich International is located at F/12A in Lado Sarai. It’s a busy little spot, especially since there are so many other small shops and workshops around here. When you walk in, you’ll usually hear the sound of the machines going and people talking over the noise. We deal with a lot of fabric and thread, so there are scraps of cloth and spools of different colors all over the place. It’s not the cleanest office you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is. The cutters work near the back where there’s a bit more light coming through the small windows. We’ve been at this Lado Sarai address for years, and the landlord is a decent enough guy who leaves us to our work. It gets pretty hot in the summer months even with the fans going full blast. We usually have a lot of samples hanging up on the walls so we can show people what we’ve been working on lately. Most of our day is spent making sure the stitching is right and that the measurements aren’t off. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work, which can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours. We take our breaks together and usually talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It’s a simple operation, nothing too fancy, just people working with their hands. We hope the machines don't break down too often.
