Bansiwale Restaurant Private Limited

Our place is up on the second floor of the Vardhman Grand Market in Dwarka. Shop 212 is where we spend all our time. It is a busy little market in Sector 3, and there are always people coming and going. We started Bansiwale because we wanted a spot in South West Delhi where we could just cook. It is not a huge space, but we make it work. The kitchen gets really hot in the summer, but that is just how it is in Delhi. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly folks living in the nearby apartments. We are not trying to be some five-star fancy joint. We just want to make sure the food tastes like it should. Sometimes the market parking is a total mess, but people still find their way up to us. We have got a small crew in the back and a couple of us out front. We keep things pretty straightforward. There is no big corporate office behind us, just us here at the shop. We do a lot of the cleaning and prep work ourselves before the lunch rush starts. It is hard work, but we like being part of the neighborhood. You can hear the sounds of the street from the balcony sometimes. It is a local business through and through. We just show up every morning and get the stoves going. That is our daily life.
