B. L. Glass Co.

If you go to the Yusuf Sarai Market, you’ll find us at number 17. We’re up on the 2nd floor. B. L. Glass Co. has been a part of this market for many years. It’s a busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Being on the second floor means we are a bit away from the main noise of the street, but you can still hear the honking and the people below. The climb up the stairs is a bit steep, so we tell people to take their time. Our shop isn't very large. It’s packed with glass samples and tools. We don’t have much room for fancy furniture, so we just have a few chairs for visitors. Most of our day is spent measuring things out or talking to customers about what they need for their homes. We’ve seen the market change a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. The walls have a few scratches from moving glass around, and the desk is cluttered with order forms. We don't mind. It feels like a real workspace. We know many of the other shopkeepers around Yusuf Sarai. It’s a good community to be in. We just try to do a decent job and stay busy. It’s a simple way of working, and it’s worked for us for a long time.
