Mahipalpur is always a bit chaotic because the airport is so close. We are located in the Sunder Singh Complex, specifically at L-9 on the first floor. Airlift & Shipping Services deals with exactly what the name says. We spend our days moving boxes and sorting out the logistics for transport. The complex itself is always full of people coming and going. Our office is a bit cramped because of all the files and the samples we keep around. You can hear the planes taking off if you listen closely, which reminds us of the work we have to do. It’s a lot of coordination. One minute we’re on the phone with a driver, and the next we’re trying to find a lost manifest. We aren't some giant international firm with glass walls. We’re just a small crew in a busy building trying to make sure things get from point A to point B without getting stuck. The stairs up to the first floor are narrow, and we’re always carrying something. It’s a practical business. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just ship things. Some days are smoother than others, but that’s just how the transport industry works in a place like Delhi. We try to keep the coffee pot full and the paperwork organized, even when it feels like everything is moving too fast.
