Sunil Prakash Sharma

Sunil runs things from E 25 in Lajpat Nagar III. It is a busy part of the city, as anyone who has tried to find parking around here knows. The building itself is older, with those solid walls that keep the heat out pretty well in the summer. Sunil has been in this spot for quite some time, and the interior shows it. There are books everywhere and the furniture is mostly wooden and heavy. It is not one of those modern glass offices you see in the newer parts of town. Usually, you can hear the sounds of the street outside, vendors calling out and cars honking, but once the door is shut, it gets reasonably quiet. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the main desk, sorting through letters and making notes on various things. There is not a team of fifty people here, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. Sometimes we stop for lunch and just eat at the desks because there is too much to do. It is a practical setup. We do not go in for much decoration, just a few calendars on the walls and maybe a clock that is always five minutes fast. It is just a regular workplace where people show up, do what they need to do, and go home when the sun starts to set over the rooftops of Lajpat. It feels like a part of the neighborhood.
