Ashutosh Bharadwj

I spend most of my days at the Delhi High Court, specifically in Lawyes Chamber 311. My name is Ashutosh Bharadwj and this office is where all the paperwork happens. The room is not very large but it is packed with files and thick law books that go back many years. There is a desk that is almost always buried under folders and loose sheets of paper. It is a very busy environment because the court is always moving fast. You can hear people talking in the hallways and the constant ringing of phones from other chambers nearby. I usually have a few people coming in to talk about their cases or to sign some documents before we head over to the courtrooms. The atmosphere is quite serious but we try to keep it friendly enough. We drink a lot of tea here while going through different files. The walls are lined with shelves that I built myself to try and keep things organized, though it does not always stay that way for long. It is a lot of reading and writing every single day. Working from chamber 311 means being right in the middle of the legal world in Delhi. It is a bit tiring sometimes with all the walking back and forth between the office and the court buildings, but it is the life of a lawyer in this city. I just try to keep up with everything.
