My office is located at 2 Defence Colony, C Block, on the second floor. It’s a nice spot in a well-known part of the city. Being on the second floor means I have a bit of a view of the trees that line the streets in C Block. The office is mostly filled with bookshelves and a large desk where I spend most of my hours. It is a quiet environment, which is necessary for the kind of work I do. I usually get in around mid-morning and stay until the work is finished. There isn't a lot of foot traffic here like a retail shop, so it stays peaceful. I handle a lot of reading and writing every day. Sometimes clients come over and we sit in the armchairs to discuss things. The building itself is older, but it has a lot of character. I like the neighborhood because you can walk to the market if you need a quick break or a snack. The stairs to the second floor are a bit narrow, but you get used to them. It’s a personal space where I can focus without many distractions. I don’t use much technology other than my computer and a printer. It is a straightforward way of working in a part of town I’ve known for years.
