Middleton Chambers

Our office is on the third floor of Laxmi Niwas in Safdurjung Enclave, New Delhi. It is an old house that has been around for a long time, and we occupy the top floor. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, especially in the middle of a Delhi summer when the heat is trapped in the stairwell. Once you are inside, we have a few rooms filled with desks and old metal filing cabinets. It is a busy neighborhood with lots of cars and people moving around, but we are high enough up that the street noise is a little muffled. We don't have any modern glass walls or fancy reception areas. It is just a practical place where we come to work every morning. The paint on the walls is a bit old, and the floors have seen a lot of footsteps over the years. We spend most of our time answering emails and talking on the phone to get things sorted. Sometimes we go downstairs to the local market to grab a quick bite to eat or a coffee during our break. It is a very standard Delhi office life. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just focus on the work we have to do and try to keep things organized. It is a simple, honest setup in a part of the city that always feels active and alive with movement.
