Lucknow Chicken Art

Lucknow Chicken Art is located in Jamia Nagar at the Mahak Complex. Our shop is 26 A, right on the Jogabai Main Road. It’s a lively spot with a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. We focus on the traditional work that people around here appreciate. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. You will see piles of fabric and thread everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time talking to customers and checking on the handiwork. The light in the complex isn't always the best, but we make do. We’ve been here long enough that the local people know us by name. We don’t do any big advertising or anything. Mostly, someone sees what a friend is wearing and asks where they got it. That’s how we like it. It’s more personal that way. On hot days, the fan just moves the warm air around, but we keep working anyway. There is a certain rhythm to life on Jogabai Main Road. We open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first person to walk in. It is a quiet kind of life, even with all the noise outside. We just care about the craft and making sure people are happy with what they take home from the shop.
