Friends Arts And Crafts

We are located at B-152 in Phase-II of the Okhla Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of the city. At Friends Arts And Crafts, we have a pretty good space where we make all our items. There’s usually a lot of wood shavings or paint smells depending on what we are working on that week. It’s a real workshop environment. We have benches set up all over the room. Some of us focus on the cutting, while others do the finishing touches. It’s not a quiet place because of the tools. We’ve been here in Okhla for a long time. The neighborhood is full of factories and warehouses, so we fit right in. We don’t have any big corporate policies or anything like that. We just come in, see what needs to be made, and get to it. Sometimes we run out of a certain material and have to wait for a delivery, which slows things down. We just take it as it comes. The building itself is old, but it’s sturdy and gives us plenty of room to work. We like it here because it’s practical. If you stop by, you’ll see we are just regular people making things with our hands. We often have some music playing to keep us going through the long afternoons.
