Artcrafts Raw Silk

You can find Artcrafts Raw Silk at I 30 in Central Market II over in Lajpat Nagar. It’s a busy spot. Lajpat Nagar is always moving, and Central Market is right in the middle of all that chaos. Our shop is filled with rolls of raw silk in different colors. We have them stacked up on shelves and some are even leaning against the walls. Silk is a tough material to handle because you have to be careful it doesn’t snag on your rings or the corners of the table. We spend a lot of time every day folding the fabric back up after someone looks at it. The floor is made of old white tiles that have some cracks in them from moving heavy boxes around. We have a small bulb hanging from the ceiling that flickers sometimes when the power fluctuates. There is a tea stall just two shops down, and they bring us tea in small glass tumblers twice a day. It’s just a few of us working here. We don't really have a big office or anything, just a small desk tucked in the back where we keep the bills. The windows get a bit dusty from the street outside, so we have to wipe them down every morning. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do. People come in looking for fabric for weddings or just for something nice to wear. We just show them what we have on the shelves.
