Ananya Arts

Ananya Arts is based at G-144 on the first floor in Hari Nagar Ashram. This is an old part of the city, and the building reflects that. To get to us, you have to walk up a narrow set of stairs, but once you are inside, it is a bit more open. We have been here for a long time. The walls are covered with different bits and pieces of our work. It is often a bit dusty because of all the materials we use, but that is just part of the job. Hari Nagar Ashram is a crowded neighborhood, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking coming through the windows. We do not mind it much anymore. It’s just the background noise of our day. At Ananya Arts, we spend most of our time working with our hands. It is not a clean, polished office environment. There are tools and supplies scattered around on the tables. We try to keep a system, but it doesn't always stay neat. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and wait for it to come back. We are just a local business trying to keep up with our daily tasks. It’s honest work and we like being in this part of town. The first floor suits us well and we have grown quite fond of the view.
