Dandua is a small area, so we are all neighbors here. Bamboo is what we know best, as it grows all over our region. We decided to form this producer company to make our work a bit more official. It is not a grand business with lots of employees. It is just us, the local growers, working together. Deep Kumar Deka helps keep things on track from his location. We do not spend much time in an office; we are usually out where the bamboo is being cut or stacked. The work is physically demanding, but it is what keeps our village going. Niz Dandua is where we belong, and we take pride in the bamboo we produce. We do not have any fancy brochures or a sales team. We just rely on our reputations and the quality of the poles we harvest.
