Narikudi Traditional Crop Producer Company Limited

We are out here in Narikudi, right on the Mukku Road near the Burma Colony. It’s just a group of us who grew up around here and know the land pretty well. Our office is at 3/236, which isn't hard to find if you are local. We deal with the older types of crops that people used to grow more often before everything changed. It gets quite hot here, but the soil still does its job if you treat it right. Most of the folks involved are just regular farmers from the nearby fields. We started this because it felt like a good way to keep things moving for the families in the area. It’s not a fancy setup. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much for us, but we manage to get through it eventually. You’ll usually find someone at the office during the day, unless we are all out checking on the harvests. We talk about the rain a lot, mostly because we really need it. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we store stuff and meet up to talk about the season. Being in a small place like Narikudi, everyone knows everyone anyway. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the crops from the field to wherever they need to go next. It’s a lot of work, and some days are better than others, but that is just how farming goes for us.
