Laddha Srikisan Ramlal

Way out here in Kuruvadipatti, near the Sundakadu Post in Thiruppathur, life is pretty quiet. We operate under the name Laddha Srikisan Ramlal, which is a name that’s been around these parts for a long time. We don't have a big office or a storefront with neon lights. It’s a very traditional setup. We handle trade and supplies for the local people. We aren't trying to compete with big city companies. We just want to serve the neighbors we’ve known for years. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come by. It’s a small community, so word of mouth is everything. We don't use computers for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen are all we need. The building is old but sturdy. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just believe in being here when people need us. If someone needs a particular supply, we do our best to get it for them. The weather can be hot, and sometimes the roads are difficult, but we’ve lived here all our lives, so we’re used to it. We aren't looking for a lot of attention. We’re just a family business doing what we’ve always done. It’s a simple way of living, and it suits us just fine. We just take each day as it comes and try to be useful to the people around us.
