Gurukul Shikshan Sansthan Madhymik Vidhyalay

Our school, Gurukul Shikshan Sansthan Madhymik Vidhyalay, is out in Ward Number 5 of Ralawata. Since we are in the Sikar district, we are part of a very large community of learners, but Ralawata is a bit more tucked away from the main city rush. The school is a Madhymik Vidhyalay, so we handle the middle years of schooling for the local kids. The building is a solid, no-nonsense structure in the middle of the ward. We have a courtyard where the morning assembly happens, and that’s always a good way to start the day when the air is still fresh. We don't have a lot of money for fancy gadgets, so we rely on good old-fashioned teaching and plenty of books. The people living around Ward 5 are mostly hardworking folks, and they expect us to work just as hard. We try not to disappoint them. You’ll find the staff here are quite practical people. We spend our time checking homework and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the light in. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s what we know. We’ve been part of the Ralawata landscape for a long time now, and we’re just another part of the daily life here in this corner of Rajasthan.
