Friends Public School

Friends Public School is located out in Village Sawalpura, right on the Khatushyam Ji Road. Being in the Sikar district, it’s a bit away from the main city buzz. The village atmosphere is very much present here, with open fields surrounding much of the area. Most of the students come from local families who live in Sawalpura or the villages nearby. You often see kids walking to school or coming on old buses. The school building is practical and fits in with the surroundings. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when the kids are out for their break. We have a yard where they play, and since we are on the road to Khatushyamji, we see quite a bit of traffic passing by, especially during festival times. The classrooms are basic but they have enough space for everyone to sit comfortably. Our staff mostly consists of people from the region who understand the local way of life. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just fans and open windows. It’s a school that focuses on the basics and making sure the children know their lessons. Life moves a bit slower here compared to the big cities, and the school reflects that. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else, which makes it feel safe for the kids and their families who have lived here for generations.
