Naugarh Farmer Producer Company Limited

Naugarh Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Amdaha in the Naugarh area. We are set up at Rajesh Kumar Singh’s place. It is a company for the farmers, run by people who actually understand what it’s like to work in the fields. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. Mostly, we meet up and talk about what the current season is looking like and what we need to do for our crops. It is a lot of local talk about the weather and the dirt. We started this because it is easier to get things done when we work together instead of everyone trying to do it on their own. Rajesh helps keep the records straight, which is a big job because there is always some new rule to follow. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in Uttar Pradesh. We just want to make sure the farmers in Amdaha can get a decent price for what they grow. It is a tough life and the work never really stops, even when the sun goes down. We have our meetings in the shade when it’s hot, and we just try to figure things out as they come. There aren't any glossy brochures here, just real people with calloused hands trying to make a go of it. We just take things one day at a time and hope for a good harvest for everyone involved.
