Puspras Honey Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in Jahangirabad, over at Kalyan Singh’s place in Mohommad Khash. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole name, so most people just know us by the work we do. Being in Bulandshahr district gives us access to some good land and a lot of hardworking people. We focus on honey and farming because that’s what we know best. Kalyan Singh is the one who keeps everything organized at the house. It’s a simple setup without any modern office equipment, just the basics to keep the company registered and legal. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say, so we just tell it like it is. Some years are great for the honey and the crops, and other years are a real struggle when the weather doesn't cooperate. We just keep moving forward. The village life is quiet, but there is always something to do with the hives or the fields. We don't use any fancy language or try to sound like we are better than any other farmers. We are just a group of people who wanted to have our own company so we could have a bit more control over our lives.
