Clarke�S Hotel

Clarke’s Hotel is right on The Mall, which is the main place everyone walks through when they are in this part of town. Our address is simple because everyone knows where The Mall is. We have been here for a very long time, and the building has that old look that you don’t see much of anymore. It can get very crowded outside during the tourist season, with people walking up and down the road all day and night. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. The wooden floors sometimes creak and the windows are the old kind, but that is part of the character of an old place like this. We don’t have fancy modern gadgets everywhere. It is more about having a solid place to stay while you are visiting. The weather can change pretty fast up here, so we spend a lot of time making sure the heating is working right when the fog rolls in. Our staff mostly lives nearby and they have worked here for years. They know all the shortcuts around the hills. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. People usually find us because they saw the building while walking by or heard about it from someone else. It is a steady kind of business, and we like it that way. We just keep things moving along.
