Z P School is located in Dhawal, which is a small spot in the Satara district. Being out here means we are very much a part of the local rural life. The address is simple, just Dhawal 415523, and everyone around here knows where to find us. We don't have any big gates or security guards. People just walk in when they need to talk to a teacher. The building is a bit old, and we have to fix the roof every now and then after the heavy rains. It’s a basic setup with a few classrooms and a shared space for the kids to eat their lunch. We don't have many resources, but we make the most of what we have. Most of the teaching happens with just a chalk and a board. The kids are used to the simple life. They play in the dirt during the breaks and help us clean the rooms at the end of the week. It’s a very practical way of living. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in Maharashtra. We just want to make sure the kids in Dhawal can read and do their math. It's hard work sometimes, especially when the power goes out, but we just carry on with the windows open for light. It’s just how we do things here. We don't need much more than some books and willing students. It is a humble setup but it works.
