Holy Convent English Medium School

You can find us right on the Umbraj Chiplun Road. It’s a pretty straightforward spot in Umbraj, Karad. Most people find us easily because we’re right there on the main route. The school has been part of this community for a while. We aren't a massive institution, just a local English medium school where kids from around the area come every morning. The building is simple and we focus more on what happens inside the classrooms than making it look like a palace. Every day starts early here. You’ll see the buses pulling in and parents on motorbikes dropping off their children. It gets a bit dusty being near the road, but that’s just part of being in this part of Karad. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s names. It's more of a quiet, working environment most of the time, except for recess. We don't do a lot of fancy advertising or anything like that. People mostly know us through word of mouth or by just passing by on the way to Chiplun. There’s always a lot of chalk dust and stacks of notebooks in the office. It's a bit cramped during the rainy season, but we make do with the space we have. We just show up, do the teaching, and head home like everyone else. It’s a decent place to work and the kids are generally alright.
