Sms English Medium School sits right in Mangalwar Peth, which is a very busy part of Karad. If you know the area, you know there’s always people moving around and shops opening early. Our school is tucked into this environment, and we’ve become a regular part of the street’s rhythm. The students arrive from various parts of the town, some on foot and others on the back of their parents' scooters. Inside the gate, things are a bit more organized. We have several classrooms spread out, and the English medium curriculum keeps the students quite busy. We have a mix of teachers, some who have been here for twenty years and some who just started. The staff room is a busy place where we plan the day and talk about the kids who are struggling or doing well. It’s not a fancy private school with huge lawns; it’s more of a city school where every bit of space is used for something. The benches in the classrooms are old but sturdy, and the walls are covered with charts and drawings made by the students. We have a small area where the kids can sit during their break and eat their lunch. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just provide a place for the local kids to come and learn their lessons every day without much fuss.
