Maharaja Sayajirao Vidyalaya & Junior Colleges

Maharaja Sayajirao Vidyalaya & Junior Colleges is located in Satara, specifically in Ward 11 near Powai Naka. We are right in the Raviwar Peth area, which is a busy part of town. This place has been around for a long time, and a lot of people in Satara actually studied here themselves years ago. We have the younger kids in the school section and the older ones in the junior college. It makes for a very busy environment throughout the day. The bells ring, the students rush to class, and the teachers try to keep everyone on track. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Satara, but it has plenty of rooms. We handle everything from basic schooling to the higher secondary levels. Being near Powai Naka means there is always traffic and people moving around outside. It’s a very central spot. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules; we just run things the way they’ve been run for years. Parents come in to talk about their kids' grades, and we sit down with them in the office. It’s all very informal but we take the teaching seriously. We focus on getting the syllabus finished and making sure the students are ready for their board exams. It’s just a staple of the local community here in Raviwar Peth, doing the same work every day to help the next generation get through their studies.
