Arham Vidyalaya

Located near the Sydney Point Toll Plaza in Panchgani, our school has a very specific kind of setting. Being up here in the hills means the weather is often cooler than down in the plains, and we get quite a bit of mist and rain during certain months. The post box address is 80, but most people just know us by our location near the toll. The school day starts with the cool mountain air, and the students come in wearing their sweaters for most of the year. We have a decent-sized building that accommodates our classrooms and the administrative side. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but it’s a nice place for a school. We don't have flashy signs or big marketing budgets. Most of our students come from the local families in Panchgani or the nearby villages. The staff is used to the quiet life of a hill station. Sometimes the tourists heading to Sydney Point get a bit loud, but inside the school, we try to keep things focused on the books. We have our own way of doing things, and it’s been working for us. The office stays busy with the usual school business, and we just keep the place running as best as we can. It’s a practical environment where the focus is just on getting through the school year. We have been here for a long time and expect to stay.
