We are located in the 3 MM Complex on KVT Street in Sultanpet. If you know Bangalore, you know Sultanpet is the hub for anything related to paper. The streets are very narrow and always filled with handcarts and people carrying big reams of paper on their shoulders. Our shop is no different. We have stacks of paper reaching up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We spend our time counting sheets, cutting them down if needed, and getting orders ready for the printers nearby. It’s a dusty business and your fingers often get little paper cuts that you don't notice until later. We don't have a lot of space for a fancy office, so we just have a small desk near the front where we keep our bills and a phone that never stops ringing. People come in looking for all sorts of paper, from thin sheets for envelopes to thick cardstock. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It’s a busy, noisy place but we like the energy of the market. We've been here for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. We just keep our heads down and get the paper out to the people who need it. Most days we are too busy to even step out for a proper lunch break.
