We are located on Chauri Road, right where all the action is. This place is famous for rugs, and we’ve been part of that for a long time. Our building is a bit older, with narrow stairs and rooms that go back further than you’d think from the street. We have rugs piled up everywhere—wool, silk, and blends. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving them around to show the patterns to anyone who stops by. Chauri Road is always packed with carts and people, so it's a bit of a struggle just to get through the door sometimes. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks perfect. We just rely on the fact that we've been here and people know we have good stock. The floor is usually covered in bits of wool and dust from the rugs, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the business. We spend our days checking the weaves and making sure the fringes are right. It’s a hands-on job and we get our hands dirty every day. We aren't trying to be a global corporation, despite the "International" in our name. We're just local guys who know rugs and have a shop on a busy street. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We just want to be a solid place that people can rely on for rugs when they need them. There’s always more to learn about the different knots and dyes, so we keep at it.
