Malik Carpet Manufacturing Co.

Our workshop, Malik Carpet Manufacturing Co., is located in Mohalla Ramsahaipur. We use P.O. Box 53 for our mail, but the actual work happens right here in the neighborhood. This area has a lot of history with making carpets, and we are just one part of that. The building is older, and you can hear the sounds of work from the street. It is not a silent place. There is the smell of wool and the sound of people talking while they work. We do not have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is taken up by the looms and the materials we use. It gets a bit dusty sometimes, but that is part of the job. We have been doing this for a long time, and it is basically all we know. My father and his father were involved in similar things. We just keep the tradition going without making a big fuss about it. We do not spend money on fancy advertisements. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking into Ramsahaipur. Every carpet takes time, and we do not like to rush things. It is a slow process, but it is how it should be. The office part of the shop is just a small corner with a ledger and a phone. We prefer being out where the carpets are. It is a simple life, focused on the craft and the daily routine of the workshop.
