Indian Carpet Lovers

We are located over on Chauri Road, and our mail usually goes to P.O. Box No.193. Indian Carpet Lovers isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees in suits. It's just a small group of us who really know our way around a rug. Chauri Road can be a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from, but it's where we've always been and we like it. The building itself is nothing special to look at from the outside, just a sturdy place to keep all the stock dry and safe from the rain. We spend our days surrounded by patterns and bright colors. It can get a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to seeing so many at once. There is a very specific smell to a room full of carpets—it smells like wool and a bit of dust. We don't really mind it though. To us, it just smells like a day of work. We don't have a lot of fancy office furniture or a big lobby for people to wait in. Most of the floor space is taken up by the carpets themselves. We move them around a lot, trying to find the specific one someone is asking for. It’s heavy work and at the end of the day, our backs usually ache quite a bit. We don't spend much money on advertising because word of mouth seems to do the job for us. People know where we are if they need us. We just keep our heads down and keep working away.
