M.A.Majeed & Brothers

M.A.Majeed & Brothers is located in the Majeed Building on Chauri Road in the Sheodaspur area. We even still use P.O. Box No. 52, which tells you a bit about how long we have been around. The building is named after the family, and it has seen a lot of history over the years. Chauri Road can be a real mess with the traffic and the noise, but once you get inside the Majeed Building, things settle down a bit. We spend most of our time dealing with the production and the logistics of the carpet trade. It is a lot of back-and-forth with the weavers and making sure the orders are moving along like they should. Our office is filled with the smell of raw materials and the sound of people talking over the drone of the fans. We do not have a polished corporate image because that is just not who we are. We are just a group of brothers and staff who know the industry inside and out. Some days are slow and we sit around talking about the old days, and other days we are working late into the night to get a shipment out. It is a life built on routine and knowing the local people. We do not need a lot of fuss to get the job done, just a bit of space and some hard work.
