You can find Vaya Gems Pvt. Ltd. over at L-7 in the Income Tax Colony, which is right near Durgapura. It’s a bit of a quiet spot once you get off Tonk Road. We’ve been in this office for quite a few years now. The building is older and doesn’t have many frills, but it works for what we do every day. We spend most of our time looking at different stones and gems under the desk lamps. It can get pretty quiet in here, save for the hum of the overhead fans and the distant sound of traffic from the main road. The colony itself has a lot of trees, so it’s nice to look out the window sometimes when the sun is setting. We don't have a big reception area or fancy furniture. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of small storage bins for our inventory. Sometimes the dust gets a bit thick on the shelves, so we spend Saturday mornings wiping things down. We usually get our tea from a small stall just outside the colony gates. It’s a short walk, but it gets us some fresh air. People who come to see us usually have to call first so we can explain how to find our specific block. It’s not hard once you’re inside, but all the buildings look a little bit alike. We like the routine here. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just a place where we come to do our work.
