Sachin Bhojanalaya

Sachin Bhojanalaya is located inside Kartik Apartment on Chandni chowk road in Sangli. We chose this spot because it is right near Kisan Chowk and there are always people moving around. The place is quite basic and we don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a simple room with some sturdy tables and chairs where people can sit and eat their lunch or dinner. Usually, the kitchen starts getting busy early in the morning. You can hear the whistle of the pressure cooker and the smell of fresh tadka throughout the building. We mostly serve the kind of food you would eat at home, like dal, bhaji, and rotis. We don't have a huge menu because we prefer to cook just a few things properly every day. My cousin works with me and we handle everything from cleaning the tables to buying the vegetables from the local market. Sangli gets quite hot in the summer, so we have some fans that stay on all day. It’s not the quietest place since the road is right there, but our customers don’t seem to mind the noise. Most of the people who eat here are regulars who live or work nearby. They just come in, find a seat, and wait for their plate. It’s a lot of hard work keeping everything running, but we have a good routine now. We just try to keep the food simple and the place clean enough for everyone.
