Naivedya Restaurants

We are located inside the Sfc Mall on Old Station Road in Sangli. It’s pretty easy to find us because we are right near the BSNL office. Working in a mall is a bit different than a standalone shop. You have the air conditioning and the mall music playing in the background all day. We get a lot of shoppers who are tired and just want to sit down for a bit. On the weekends, it gets really crowded with families and groups of friends. I spend a lot of my time managing the seating so nobody has to wait too long. The kitchen stays busy from the time we open until the mall shuts down. We’ve been here since the mall opened up, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we are still here. The staff is mostly local guys from around Sangli. We aren’t part of some huge chain with manuals for everything. We just know how things should be done and we do them. Sometimes the mall elevators break or it gets too noisy, but that’s just part of being in this building. We keep our space clean and make sure the food is hot. It’s a simple setup on Old Station Road. If you’re coming from the BSNL side, just walk straight into the mall and you’ll find Naivedya Restaurants. We just serve the people who come to shop.
