Dosa Restaurant

Our small restaurant is situated on Shivaji Road in Miraj, right near the Old Bus Stand. Being so close to the bus stand means we see a lot of travelers and people just passing through Sangli. It is a noisy area with buses honking and people rushing to catch their rides, but that is just how life is around here. We have been at this spot for a while now. The space inside is not very large, but we manage to fit everyone in. We mostly focus on dosas since that is what people expect when they see the name on the board. The kitchen stays pretty warm throughout the day, especially during the lunch rush. We don't have fancy menus or any complicated decorations on the walls. It is just a plain room with some benches and fans to keep the air moving. Often, we find ourselves chatting with the regulars who live around Shivaji Road. They come in for a quick bite before heading home. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when it rains outside, but we try to keep it as tidy as we can. It is a straightforward business. We wake up early to get the batter fermented and ready. By the time the first bus arrives at the stand, we are usually already heating up the tawa. It is a lot of work, but it keeps us busy and part of the neighborhood. We just take things one day at a time.
