Nalanda Restaurants

We’ve been here at the Sonraj Complex on Bus Stand Road for a while now. Most folks in Islampur know the spot because it’s right by where the buses pull in. It gets pretty busy, especially when travelers are coming through and looking for a quick bite before they head back out. We keep things simple inside. It’s mostly just us making sure the tables are wiped down and people get their food without waiting too long. Sometimes the noise from the road gets a bit loud, but that’s just how it is in this part of Sangli. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It's just a regular place to sit down and eat. We open up early and stay open until the evening rush settles. The staff is mostly local guys who live nearby. We know a lot of the regular drivers and commuters who stop by every day. If you’re walking from the main part of town, it’s not a long walk at all. We try to keep enough chairs for everyone even when it’s crowded on weekends. There’s no big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the front and some food on the stove. We like being part of the neighborhood here. It’s a decent spot for a meal if you’re passing through the station or just live around the corner in Islampur. We hope the food hits the spot for you.
