Mukundha International School

Mukundha International School is located on the DPC Campus in Muthunaickenpatti, which is over in Salem. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice for a change. The campus has a lot of open air and enough space for everyone to breathe. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time now. It’s a local school through and through. The teachers usually come in from the nearby parts of Salem, and the students are mostly from local families. We don't have a big fancy website with polished photos. The reality is just a lot of classrooms, a playground that gets quite dusty in the summer, and the usual school day bustle. Muthunaickenpatti is a quiet area, so we don't have to deal with heavy traffic, which is a relief. The buildings are functional and simple. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are actually learning something. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows, but that’s just life here. We don't have a grand mission statement posted on every wall. We just show up, do the teaching, and head home. It’s a practical, local institution that serves its purpose for the community around the DPC Campus. We’re just a regular group of people running a school in a quiet corner of Salem.
