Maruthi College Of Education. Vadachennimalai is a small place. We help people become teachers here. It's mostly quiet around the campus. Students come from all over the district to get their degrees. We have basic classrooms and some space for them to practice teaching. It’s not fancy. The building is just off the main road. Most of the staff live nearby so they know the families around here well. During exam time, it gets quite busy, but otherwise, it's a slow-paced life. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and making sure the students attend their sessions. The weather in this part of Salem can get pretty hot in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just carry on with the lessons. We've been here for a while now, watching different batches come and go. People know where we are. If you walk past the main junction in Vadachennimalai, you’ll find us easily. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a place where folks come to study so they can go back to their villages and teach in schools. We keep the place clean as much as we can. It’s a standard college setup with desks and boards. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a regular spot for higher education in our little corner of the world.
