We’ve been here on Qutub Sher Abdul Salam Road for quite a while now. Most days it’s just us doing what needs to get done. The shop isn't fancy or anything. You’ll probably see some boxes piled up in the corner if you drop by. It gets busy on this street, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We started this because we knew how to make things and it just grew from there. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a few of us working together. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to hear the clock on the wall. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock takes over the floor space. People from the neighborhood stop in just to say hello or ask for directions. It feels like a part of the community here. The sunlight hits the front window in a weird way during the summer, so we have to move things around so they don’t get too hot. We don't have a big fancy office in the back, just a desk with a lot of papers on it. It’s a lot of work keeping everything moving, but we manage. If you’re ever walking down Abdul Salam Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s been there through all kinds of weather. We just keep at it day after day.
