You can find us at No. 10/881 Shahbilol, right across from the Masjid Topiya Sarai. It’s a bit of a crowded area, but it’s home to us. We spend our days surrounded by handicrafts. There’s always dust from wood or the smell of polish in the air. It’s not a clean, modern office; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. We’ve got piles of materials in the corners and half-finished pieces sitting on the benches. People walk by the masjid and sometimes poke their heads in to see what we’re working on. We don’t mind. Some of the techniques we use have been around forever. We just keep doing what we know. It’s slow work sometimes. You can’t rush a good piece of handiwork without it looking messy. We have our regulars who come from all over to see our latest stuff. Sometimes we’re working late to finish an order, and other times we’re just sitting around drinking tea and talking about the next project. The address is easy to find if you know where the masjid is. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood knows us well. We just like making things with our hands and seeing them go to a good home. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. Every piece has its own little story, even if we don't always tell it to the people who buy them. It's enough for us to know.
