About Sant Handicrafts – Art & Craft in Saharanpur
Our workshop is on Id-Gah Road in Nadeem Colony. It is a place where we make various handcrafted items. We have been here for quite some time now. The area is mostly residential and small workshops like ours. We have a few benches where the workers sit and carve or paint. It is a very hands-on process. We don’t use big machines for much. Most of what we do involves simple tools and a lot of patience. The air in the shop usually smells like sawdust or paint, depending on the day. We are not a high-end boutique. We are just a local shop that makes things for people to use or decorate their homes. Sometimes the neighborhood kids stop by to watch us work. We don't mind. We aren't trying to be famous; we just want to make a decent product. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially in the dry season. We keep the doors open to let the air circulate. My family has been involved in this kind of work for generations. It’s just what we do. We take our time with each piece. If something isn't right, we fix it. We don't have a big sales team. If you want something, you just come down to Nadeem Colony and talk to us directly at the shop.
