We are a group of farmers here in the Saharanpur area, and our main focus is on silk production. It all started because a few of us in Faridpur Alis Manduwalamuzaffarabad wanted to organize things a bit better than they used to be. Dinesh Kumar is where we usually keep our records and meet up for a chat. We spend most of our days out in the fields or checking on the silkworms in the sheds. Sometimes the weather is on our side, and sometimes it really isn't, but that’s just the way farming goes in this part of the world. We aren't trying to be some big, polished corporation from the city. We just want our families to have a bit more stability throughout the year.
