Karanpur Farmer Producer Company Limited is a small group of us farmers based out of Hardoi. We mostly operate from Raghavendra Singh’s place in Gram Karanpur. This isn't a big city business with fancy offices. We are just local people who spend our days out in the fields of Harodi. Most of us have been doing this work since we were very young because it is what our families have always done. We decided to get together and form this company because doing things alone was getting too difficult. The costs for everything like seeds and tools keep going up and it is hard to get a good price for what we grow. By working as a group, we can help each other out with these things. The land in this part of Uttar Pradesh is good, but the weather can be really unpredictable. Some years there is too much rain and other years not enough. We don't have any polished marketing or big promises to make. We just grow our crops and try to make a living. If you come by our village, you will see us working. We are just regular folks trying to make the farming life a bit more stable for our families. It is honest work and we take it one day at a time without any fuss. We aren't experts at business, but we know our soil and our community here in Karanpur.
