Bengal Tech Agro Energy Hub Private Limited is our little company over in Mohalla Chaudhriyan. We have shops number 5 and 6 on the first floor. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good space once you get there. We deal with agro-energy, which sounds complicated but we just try to make it simple for the people we work with. The neighborhood is quite old and has a lot of character. We aren't a big tech firm with glass walls and coffee machines. It’s just a couple of rooms with some desks and a few computers. We spend our days looking at energy solutions for farms and talking to local landowners. Sometimes the electricity in the building is a bit patchy, but we make do. We aren't interested in being the biggest name in the industry. We just want to provide something useful to our community. The shops are usually full of papers and some equipment we are testing out. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest, but we know where everything is. We started this because we saw a need for better energy use in the fields around here. It’s a small team, mostly just friends who have worked together before. We don't have a receptionist, so if you come by, one of us will just pull up a chair for you. It's usually busy but you can always find a place to sit. We’re glad to be part of the local market here.
