Haritbhumi Vegetable Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Haritbhumi Vegetable Farmer Producer Company Limited. We operate out of Lakhapateri, right at Mr. Anil Vishwakarma’s place near Post Niwar. It’s basically a collective of local farmers coming together to handle the vegetable business better. Being in a small place like this means everybody knows everybody else. We don’t have a big corporate building; it’s more of a community setup where we discuss what’s growing and how to get it to the market. Some days it’s about figuring out transport for the tomatoes or the greens, and other days we are just sitting around talking about the soil. Anil’s place is easy to find if you’re in the area. We have been working on this for a bit now, trying to make things a bit more organized for the growers in Lakhapateri. It’s not always easy because the market prices jump around so much, and sometimes the transport doesn't show up on time. We just deal with those things as they come. Our focus is really just on the day-to-day reality of farming and selling. We aren't trying to be some massive company, just a reliable group for the people living and working right here. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything running smoothly, especially when the harvest is heavy. We usually have a lot of crates stacked up and people coming in and out all day long. Dealing with all the different types of vegetables keeps us quite busy.
