Miglani Handicrafts

Miglani Handicrafts is located in Ashok Nagar right across from the Miglani Building. It’s not hard to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We spend most of our time working on different items by hand. There’s always a smell of raw materials in the air here. Some days are busier than others depending on how many orders we have to finish. We have a few local workers who have been with us for years and they know exactly how things should be done. It’s not a big factory or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where we keep our tools and materials. The building stays pretty busy because of the other shops nearby. We often have to move things out to the sidewalk to make room when we’re working on something large. People walking by often stop to peek in and see what’s going on. We don’t mind. It’s good to have some company while we work. The area around Ashok Nagar has changed a lot but we’ve stayed right here. We keep our records in a big pile on the desk and somehow we always find what we need. It might look a bit messy to an outsider but we have our own way of doing things. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the pieces are ready on time.
