Raj Handicrafts

Raj Handicrafts is located right on Khata Kheri Main Road. We are very close to the Farmania Masjid, which is really the best way to find us if you are new to this part of town. The shop is usually full of dust and the smell of wood and fabric. We spend our days surrounded by things people have made by hand. It’s not a sterile environment at all. There are piles of materials in the corners and half-finished projects sitting on the tables. We started this because we liked the work. It’s not about having a big brand or anything corporate like that. We just open up the doors in the morning and see who comes by. Sometimes the street outside is so busy it’s hard to hear yourself think over the horns and people. We have some local craftsmen who bring their stuff in, and we spend time sorting through everything. The shelves are a bit disorganized, but we like it that way. It feels more like a home or a workshop than a store. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come to Khata Kheri Main Road and look around. We might be busy with a delivery or talking to a neighbor, but someone is usually around. It’s a slow pace of life, and we like it.
